Mental & Physical Self-Care Tips

Hey there, friend! I have seen a few posts about self-care recently, and I wanted to write a little post on my idea of self-care at the moment.  Here are some things that I have been doing during this quarantine that helps to clear my mind and maintain my physical health:

Enjoy a glass of wine! (with no guilt) I wanted to talk to you all about FitVitne. If you have been following along for a while now, you know I am a raving fan of this wine. Treat your hair to a hair mask: I’m linking my favorite hair mask at the moment here (for some reason I can only find travel size) and the oil that I add in for a little extra boost here. I’ll link another full size mask option that I buy quite often here as well.  I let this mixture sit in my hair for a least 10 minutes before rinsing it out.  I usually use that time to shave or exfoliate, sit, and relax.

Whiten your teeth: This may seem silly, but I found that doing simple things like this has boosted my mood at home. I pulled out my whitening kit from Smile Brilliant just the other day and knocked out a whitening session. Bake something yummy! Linking my healthy banana bread recipe here, and my flourless almond butter cookies here. They are still recipes I make allll the time and they are cleaner ingredients that you don’t have to feel bad about (NO white sugar or butter in either recipe!) I’m waiting on some bananas to ripen right now so I can make banana bread!
